HAA is Standard Performer under Public Housing Management Assessment System.
Febuary 6, 2008 -- The Housing Authority of Americus learned on this date from the Real Estate Assessment Center's website that it had scored 86 out of a possible 100 on the Public Housing Assessment System (PHAS) and is now classified as a Standard Performer. Last year's score was 82. We are only 4 points away from High Performer.

HUD issues SEMAP (Section 8 Management Assessment Program) Score.
December 20, 2007 -- In a letter from Boyce Norris, Jr., Director, Office of Public Housing, Georgia State Office, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Housing Authority of Americus was advised that they had scored 96 out of 100 points under the SEMAP system for fiscal year ending 9/30/2007. With a score of 96 HAA was rated as a HIGH performer. A summary of the evaluation scoring is as follows.
